CD Cover analysis

Example, is an English singer and rapper signed to Data Records. His name arose due to his initials being E.G., which is also an abbreviation of the Latin phrase "exempli gratia", which means, "for example".  Won't Go Quietly is the second studio album from British rapper Example. It was released as a digital download on 20 June 2010, with the release of the album to the public just the following day.  As you can see from looking at the CD cover it shows 9 different images of the artist in which he is posing in many different ways.  This is helpful because it helps establish the artist and possibly help the viewer establish what type of genre Example is.  Furthermore, the title has been made very simple therefore, making it easy for the viewer to firstly read the writing and secondly establish who the artist is.  The artist has chosen a simple but bold title making it stand out in shop windows so that music fans take intrest into what Example has to offer.  The cover also shows the parental advisory logo at the bottom of it, this has to be put on an album if certain limits are broken which therefore, makes it inappropriate for children at a young age; it also makes the CD cover look more professional to the viewers/fans.  Finally, Example is holding up two signs which are the name of the album and the name of one of the songs in the album, this shows that the album has a main feature to it and draws the viewers in more intently to buy the CD.
